For the last 25 years, Heather has worked on international project teams for high-profile brands, delivering copywriting, translation and interpreting services. A multilinguist, she speaks fluent French and German, and throughout her career she has lived and worked in Nottingham, Paris, Basel and Heidelberg. To date, she has translated over 10 million words, including several books. In a previous role as a Marketing & Communications Manager, Heather was responsible for internal and external communications, brand management, PR and event planning.
Heather loves storytelling and produces impactful and engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, podcasts, video scripts and more.
Harnessing her language skills, backed up by a rich cultural understanding, she helps clients get their message across with the translation of marketing content, presentations, corporate reports, training materials, instruction manuals and software localisation. She also provides consecutive interpreting and language support for workshops and meetings.
Heather lives in the beautiful town of Cognac in Southwest France, surrounded by vineyards, wineries and châteaux. Out of the office, she spends time with family, is a jazz dancer and has set herself the challenge of learning Spanish and Chinese.
