Martin Reid

Senior Associate - Strategy and marketing - Kent, UK

Martin is a strategic marketer who has 20 years’ experience across the not for profit, public and private sectors.  He has held senior director posts in four membership organisations and supported some 20 membership bodies as a marketing and communications consultant. 

He has a strong understanding of the education sector. In his last role, he was an executive director for the Education and Training Foundation and ran its separate membership body, the Society for Education and Training, overseeing a 33% growth in members through working with HEIs and students to identify and launch several new partnerships and products.​

Martin has also worked for the Association of MBAs, the global business school accreditation, events and membership organisation, where he introduced a 'freemium' model to tap into a rapidly growing international membership base and deployed a new CRM system to anchor the work.​

He offers excellent membership expertise, particularly around strategies and plans which transform member-led organisations – from creating behavioural personas and journey maps to creating segmented content tracked through CRM. Martin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.​

Martin lives in Kent and is a proud father of two wonderful daughters. He loves sport (watching mainly!), spending time at gym, enjoying walks and visiting historic places and gardens. He loves to travel to different countries and experience different cultures though also admits it is just lovely when you can relax by the pool, taking in the rays and sipping a cocktail.
