Niall is a campaign comms, strategic comms and crisis comms specialist, having spent 30 years in the media industry.

He was head of media and PR for Amnesty UK for 10 years until June 2024, leading the team to win the prestigious in-house PR team of the year. He has also worked in senior PR roles in the health, trade union and sports sectors. He spent five years on the sports desk of the Independent and is the author of three books.

He is currently the volunteer CEO of Fair Game, a group of 34 men's professional football clubs campaigning for a fairer future for football. Niall also sits on the Executive Board of the Union of European Clubs and he was involved in setting up AFC Wimbledon.

Away from media, he has an unhealthy love of 90s indie music.
