With a career spanning three decades, Vic has worked in large complex organisations and small start-ups and offers depth of experience in both strategy and tactics.
Having started her career in journalism, Vic worked as a press officer for the Local Government Association then teachers’ union, NASUWT, before taking on senior leadership roles at wellbeing charity, Teacher Support Network, and education union, Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL).
In her role as Assistant General Secretary, Vic integrated the communications and membership team and oversaw the historic ballot of ATL members to amalgamate with the National Union of Teachers to become the National Education Union.
As director of Agenda, Vic works with charities, membership organisations and trade unions on strategic planning and delivery, helping senior leaders and their teams define and achieve ambitious goals.
Drawing on her career experience, Vic has worked with organisations looking to improve their insight, including a CRM project with train drivers’ union ASLEF, their influence, such as a stakeholder engagement project with rare disease charity, MPS Society, and their impact, helping set up an NHS anchor network to tackle health inequalities.
When not wrestling a spreadsheet, Vic can be found in the garden, at Little League or socialising – a past time she previously turned in a small business, running a microbrewery near her home in South London.
