With a career spanning three decades, Vic has worked in large complex organisations and small start-ups and offers depth of experience in both strategy and tactics.
Having started her career in journalism, Vic worked as a press officer for the Local Government Association then teachers’ union, NASUWT, before taking on senior leadership roles at wellbeing charity, Teacher Support Network, and education union, Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL).
As Assistant General Secretary for communications and membership, Vic worked on the recruitment, retention and engagement of members and influence of decision-makers, including the Schools Cuts campaign for additional funding.
As director of Agenda, Vic works with charities, membership organisations and trade unions, helping senior leaders and their teams with brand, communications and campaigns strategies and delivery.
Her projects include crafting compelling messaging for youth homeless charity Centrepoint; brand positioning and narrative for teachers’ union NASUWT; and press and PR for the Society of Radiographers.
When not wrestling a spreadsheet, Vic can be found in the garden, walking the dog or socialising – a past time she once turned in a small business, running a microbrewery near her home in South London.
