We’re moving on to the next phase of Nautilus International’s digital project after its three new websites went live and we now move into the next phase of the project. . The main website brings the union's UK, Netherlands and Switzerland branches together as one union online, in three languages, plus the Nautilus Federation and Welfare Fund websites benefitted from a refresh. Duncan project managed the build from requirements to launch, with Matt providing strategic and operational support on migrating and creating content that expresses the union's vision, values and offer to members.
Racism has no place in the NHS yet a Society of Radiographer's survey uncovered appalling racial abuse by members of the public, including offensive language and name calling, and refusal to be treated by BAME professionals. Our PR specialist Adi Bloom secured national press coverage on the issue with Sky News, the Guardian, Telegraph and The Independent, along with an ask of NHS Trusts to do more to support staff than simply record incidents. We're digging deeper into NIPSA's CRM and website requirements by mapping member journeys from joining to renewing, accessing services and support, and getting active. We're looking at what happens now, what's working well and where there are gaps, and discovering what staff and reps would like their new platforms to deliver for them.
We've been in workshops with BALPA's company council reps, mapping how member queries are raised, answered and recorded across airlines large and small. This work is building the evidence base for consistent helpdesk guidance now and a CRM casework system later. We're also helping BALPA shape a structured approach to WhatsApp, with a playbook and rep guidelines ahead of a first trial this autumn.
Having helped the Hallmark Foundation with a light touch brand refresh, we're delighted to see the playbook put into practice with elements of the revised vision, mission, values and narrative appearing in the charity's impact report and website.
