Just as the weather has been keeping us all on our toes this month, so too has our work.
Changing hearts and minds
Many of our clients are grappling with similar issues: increased polarisation, politically motivated attacks on their work, and much more. To equip our clients and other like-minded comms professionals with insights and tools to tackle these challenges we’re hosting an event on 12 June. Click here for info and tickets
New clients and projects
We are excited to start working with National Energy Action and Thrive Mental Wellbeing, and started a new project with Medical Aid for Palestinians that draws on the skills of our network of talented associates. Huge thanks to Justin Shill, Becky Allin, Catherine Cooper and Paulina Lainez Miccolo
Comms strategy and recruitment
Our team has been busy with the action-oriented comms strategy for the European Food Banks Federation and recruiting their new communications manager. We’re looking forward to both pieces falling into place.
Regional PR coverage
A pair of muddy stilettos, the London Marathon and footballing legends all helped Tree of Hope secure excellent coverage this month with the help of our expert PR associate Catherine Cooper
Conference session
Vic and Matt attended the Society and College of Radiographers annual conference and delivered a session engaging members and politicians in its manifesto. We helped delegates think about how to spread the message that more radiographers are key to fixing the NHS.
Broadcast media
Adi secured print and broadcast media coverage for a broad range of SoR’s motions – from diagnosing osteoporosis to opposing age-verification X-rays of child migrants to removing VAT from bras.
Judging awards
Vic joined Unions 21 executive director Becky Wright as a judge at the Memcom awards reception. The awards are where membership organisations, professional associations and #unions showcase their work.
Strategy development
Duncan and Vic are working with Alzheimer Research UK comms team to develop two vital components of its strategy: a project management platform so they can plan, prioritise and report on their daily work; and a series of KPIs which help the team know what’s working for them and the wider charity in delivering its overall goals.
Social media
Telling your organisation’s story is an important way to attract the best talent. Sarah Younger helped Gesher School celebrate the Gesher way by repurposing staff interviews and website content for its LinkedIn audiences.
In conversation with…
We opened bookings to our next author Q&A event, ‘In Conversation with...’ In May Becky will be talking to Ian Leslie about how we should all be having better arguments at work and home.
